Atlantc Wolffish – Anarhichas Lupus

The Atlantic wolffish is a bottom-dwelling fish that lives in cold deep waters near rocky areas. It is found at depths between 50 and 150 meters along the Norwegian coast, in the North Sea and in the Barents Sea. The flesh is white and firm which makes it good for frying, roasting, boiling and baking.
Atlantic wolffish fishing is carried out year-round. Fresh or frozen fillets are the main products. The Atlantic wolffish is lean and it is a good source of protein, vitamin D and vitamin B12.
